1VAC30-46-15. Standards for accreditation transition.

A. Commercial environmental laboratories are accredited under the standards of The NELAC Institute (TNI).

B. DCLS shall accredit commercial environmental laboratories under the 2009 TNI Standards as specified by the provisions of this chapter that became effective on November 1, 2015, for the first six months following April 1, 2022.

C. DCLS shall accredit commercial environmental laboratories under the 2016 TNI Standards as specified by the provisions of this chapter effective April 1, 2022, beginning on the first day of the seventh month following April 1, 2022.
