DEPARTMENT (BOARD) FOR RIGHTS OF VIRGINIANS WITH DISABILITIES [REPEALED]

AGENCY SUMMARY

The Department (Board) for Rights of Virginians with Disabilities was abolished and replaced with the Virginia Office for Protection and Advocacy, by Chapter 572 of the 2002 Acts of Assembly.

The former Department (Board) for Rights of Virginians with Disabilities did not have any regulations in effect at the time it was abolished. It will be replaced in the Virginia Administrative Code by VAC Agency No. 27, Board for Protection and Advocacy, when regulations are promulgated.
