6VAC20-130-30. Applicability of chapter.

A. This chapter applies to:

1. All licensed dealers in firearms; and

2. The Department of State Police.

B. This chapter shall not apply to:

1. Transactions between persons who are licensed as firearms importers or collectors, manufacturers or dealers pursuant to 18 USC § 921 et seq.;

2. Purchases by or sale to any law-enforcement officer or agent of the United States, the Commonwealth, or any local government; or

3. Antique firearms.
