An Act to designate portions of certain highways "Virginia's Heritage Music Trail: The Crooked Road.”

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The following route is hereby designated "Virginia's Heritage Music Trail: The Crooked Road": Beginning at the Blue Ridge Folklife Museum in Ferrum, thence west on U.S. Route 40 to Shooting Creek Road, thence along Shooting Creek Road to its intersection with U.S. Route 221, thence along U.S. 221 through the Town of Floyd and west on U.S. Route 221 to its intersection with U.S. Route 58 in the Town of Hillsville, thence west on U.S. 58/221 to the Town of Independence, thence west on U.S. Route 58 through the Town of Damascus to its intersection with U.S. Route 11, thence southeast on U.S. 11 through the Town of Abingdon where U.S. 11 joins with U.S. Route 19 to Interstate Route 81 (Exit 5) in the City of Bristol, thence west on U.S. 58 and Interstate Route 81 to the intersection of U.S. Route 421 (Exit 1), thence west on U.S. 58/421 to its intersection with U.S. Route 23 in the Town of Weber City, thence west and north on U.S. Route 23/58/421 to the Town of Duffield, thence north on U.S. Route 23 through the Town of Big Stone Gap and the City of Norton to the intersection of U.S. Route 23 (business) south of the Town of Pound, thence north on U.S. 23 (business) into the Town of Pound to the intersection of Virginia Route 83, thence east on Virginia Route 83 to the Town of Clintwood. The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain appropriate markers indicating the designation of this route. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this route or any portions thereof.
