CHAPTER 195
An Act to amend and reenact § 2 of the first enactment of Chapter 306 of the Acts of Assembly of 1986, as amended by Chapter 319 of the Acts of Assembly of 2002, as amended by Chapter 148 of the Acts of Assembly of 2004, relating to The Miller School of Albemarle.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 2 of the first enactment of Chapter 306 of the Acts of Assembly of 1986, as amended by Chapter 319 of the Acts of Assembly of 2002, as amended by Chapter 148 of the Acts of Assembly of 2004, is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 2. The Miller School of Albemarle shall be governed by a
Board of Trustees consisting of no more than 23 members, according to its
bylaws. Two members shall be appointed by the Governor of Virginia subject
to confirmation by the Senate and the House of Delegates, two members
shall be appointed by the Judge of the Circuit Court of Albemarle County, and
the remaining members shall be elected by Members of the board shall be
elected by the entire Board according to its bylaws.
All trustees serving as of July 1, 2004, shall be eligible to complete their respective terms. Thereafter, all appointments and elections shall be for four years except appointments and elections to fill vacancies, which shall be for the unexpired term of the vacancy.
No member shall be eligible to serve more than two consecutive four-year terms.
