CHAPTER 177

An Act relating to the training of certain private correctional personnel by the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement to provide training to private correctional personnel employed by the Immigration Centers of America–Farmville, LLC, so long as such agreement provides for reimbursement to the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy for the cost of such training.

2. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
