CHAPTER 738
An Act to direct the Board for Contractors to evaluate continuing education requirements for tradesman; report.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Board for Contractors shall evaluate continuing education requirements for tradesman, including curriculum standards, corresponding updates to the Uniform Statewide Building Code (§ 36-97 et seq.), effectiveness in protecting the public, and cost to regulants, and initiate regulatory action to reduce any unnecessary burdens.
§ 2. That on or before November 1, 2013, the Board shall report its findings to the Chairmen of the House Committee on General Laws and the Senate Committee on General Laws and Technology.
