An Act to direct the Department of Social Services to provide information, resources, and education to food banks regarding outreach opportunities for providing assistance to individuals with completing a SNAP application.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Department of Social Services (the Department) shall provide information, resources, and education to all food banks located within the Commonwealth regarding outreach opportunities for providing assistance to individuals completing a SNAP application. Such information, resources, and education shall include information regarding the process for organizations to enter into a contract with the Department to provide assistance with completing a SNAP application.
