22VAC30-100-70. Civil penalty for nonreporting.

A. The commissioner may impose civil penalties when it is determined that a mandated reporter failed to report suspected adult abuse, neglect, or exploitation pursuant to § 63.2-1606 of the Code of Virginia.

B. Civil penalties for law-enforcement officers shall be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, at its discretion.
